Among the various flight parameters, there are four that are the most important: Speed, Direction, Altitude, and Vertical speed. Meanwhile, there are four knobs on the FCU correspondingly controlling these parameters. Each knob has a unique shape and length that enables the pilot to identify them even in complete darkness or in view obstruction, such as smoke in the cockpit. All knobs are linked to an encoder with 32 clicks per revolution. In order to offer you the precise feeling and durability of operating a real unit, we have meticulously reproduced the same count with a custom-made, optical sensing encoder in our miniFCU.
